Sleeping Position and Neck Pain

Sleeping in certain positions can lead to neck pain, especially in the back of the neck.
For example, sleeping on your stomach forces the neck to twist awkwardly, which can make it hurt by morning. Poor pillow support can also cause pain by putting the neck in an unnatural position. Sleeping on your back or side with a supportive pillow can help reduce neck pain. A pillow that keeps your neck in a neutral position can prevent your neck from hurting during the night. Finding the right sleeping position can make a big difference in how your neck feels.
