Weather Changes and Neck Pain
Some people find that changes in weather, especially cold weather, can make the back of their neck hurt more. Cold weather can cause muscles to tighten up, leading to stiffness and pain in the neck. For some, neck pain can also be more noticeable in damp or rainy weather. Staying warm and using heat pads can help reduce neck pain during cold weather. Warming up the neck and shoulders can keep the muscles relaxed and prevent them from hurting as much. Being prepared for weather changes can make a difference in managing neck pain.
